Catriona Gray from Philippines became the Miss Universe champion 2018. She became the fourth Filipino to bring home the coveted title.

24-year-old Catriona Gray was born in Australia and has studied music in the United States. Her father is from Australia and Mother from Philippines and she was named after her paternal grandmother, Catherine Gray (née Ross), an immigrant to Western Australia from Scotland in 1952.
