Steven Guttenberg receives 2455 star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Cocoon, Three Men and a Baby, Police Academy, and Short Circuit star 53 year-old Steven Robert "Steve" Gutttenberg (Poularly known as Steven Guttenberg) is going to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on monday, December 12. He is the 2,455 star and will be presented by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will be placed in front of the LAPD’s Police Activities League office at 6411 Hollywood Boulevard.

The Walk of Fame is one of showbiz's most visible landmarks.  Ana Martinez will once again be working behind the scenes as curator-in-chief to the iconic attraction. Martinez has been its inconspicuous producer for almost half the attraction's 51 years, making sure the constellation of stars is perfectly aligned on the Hollywood sidewalks. For 24 years, she has been the person deciding where celebrities will receive their coveted symbol of fame in the heart of Tinseltown.

From 1977-present Guttenberg has starred in 52 films, with most all of his bigger hits coming in the ’80s these will be childhood favorites for many people of a certain maturity, and they made Guttenberg famous. His TV credits include “The Day After,” “Miracle On Ice,” “Something For Joey” and “Veronica Mars.” Guttenberg was also a season six contestant on “Dancing With the Stars.”

As a philanthropic he is known for spearheading a campaign to provide glasses for 50,000 poor and low-income children whose families could not afford eye care. Gutttenberg is currently starring on Broadway in "Relatively Speaking" and a film called "Three Men and a Bride (releasing in 2012)."
