Jenny McCarthy in black knee tights and fishnet gloves in Playboy: her sixth

Jenny on the Playboy Cover for the Sixth time

Co-host of MTV's dating show, "Singled Out,"Actress, comedian, model, playmate of the year 1993 Jenny McCarthy has again appeared on the cover of Playboy and it is for the sixth time. She will be seen with nothing except black Knee high tights and fingerless gloves in the cover of July/August Issue.

In addition to the cover photo, McCarthy appears in an eight-page photo spread inside the magazine, her seventh pictorial for Playboy.

The 39-year-old told People magazine that this particular photo shoot was particularly special because of the classy factor. "I'm really proud of it," McCarthy told the magazine. "The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They're really elegant. It's probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you'd see of people with their clothes on.

" McCarthy made her Playboy debut in 1993 as a centerfold and later went on to be named Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year. Shortly thereafter MTV enlisted McCarthy to co-host our popular '90s dating show "Singled Out," which officially put the model/personality on the pop culture map.

Entertainment Weekly deemed McCarthy "the Vanna White for the MTV generation," and praised her plucky, outspoken and signature touchy-feely hosting methods. McCarthy parlayed her fame into multiple roles in television series and film, including two of her own self-titled sitcoms.

But during the years passed closely, she has become more well-known for her work as an activist for autism awareness, on behalf of her own autistic son Evan and the challenges and preconceptions associated with parenting autistic children. McCarthy also made headlines from her four-year relationship with Jim Carrey.

Kristen and patinson to be young parents: triggered by ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′

Would be young parents Kristen and Patinson
During palaying ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ Both Kristen Steward and Robert Patinson felt to be real parents and why not early in their life. Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, are both method actors, so they completely threw themselves into the role of parents in Breaking Dawn Part 2. According to a new report, Kristen and Rob are ready to start their family together! “Breaking Dawn Part 2 changed them and made them realize it’s something they’re ready for sooner than they thought,” a source close to the couple told OK! Magazine.

“They’ve known for a long time that they wanted kids, but always thought of it as something they would do down the line — but then they shot this movie and they started imagining being parents together.”

According to a source on the set of Breaking Dawn Part 2, Kristen and Rob couldn’t keep quiet about their plans to have a baby during rehearsals. “They would talk a lot about having a baby and all of their feelings about what sort of parents they’d like to be,” the source shared. The couple is so eager to have kids together, they wouldn’t mind if Kristen got pregnant before their wedding planned for the fall! “They don’t have to wait for a ceremony to start planning a family — and that’s exactly what they plan to do,” a family friend told OK! Kristen’s family is totally cool with the idea of Rob and Kristen starting a family so soon!

“When Kristen told her family that she may not wait to get married before having Rob’s children, they were thrilled,” a family friend reveals. “They didn’t mind at all. Kristen’s mom and dad, John and Jules, are old hippies from way back and don’t believe their daughter needs to marry first before having babies.

Rob is thrilled that Kristen’s parents approve.” If Kristen did become pregnant before the wedding, their fall wedding would be moved up and downsized. “They’ve hinted at even eloping and doing a quickie wedding,” says a family pal. The pal also shared that Kristen and Rob feel like they’re already married anyway. Adoption is also an option the couple definitely wants to explore.

Kristen has two adopted brothers of her own and and would like to adopt after having a baby of her own with Rob. “[I]t’s something she’s always wanted to do,” a source reveals. “And Rob is all for it, he just loves the idea of having a family.”

Now that the couple has realized how much they want to be parents, they are going to let things happen naturally and see what happens. “They’re not exactly trying — but they’re also not doing anything to prevent it. They know they want to spend their lives together and they’re kind of like, ‘Well, if it happens, it happens.’

” Kristen thinks that Rob will make a great father, so of course she can’t wait to have a baby with him! “Rob’s really good with [kids],” Kristen gushed about her British beau. “Every time they started crying, I would be worried about the baby. I’d go, ‘Oh, God, where’s its mom?’ And he would literally go into the corner and rock it to sleep.”

Rob has even started writing lullabies for his future baby with Kristen! “Every time he gets his custom-made guitar out, Rob will start strumming lullabies and making up silly baby songs. It’s really sweet,” shared a friend.

In his amazing week Justin Bieber, singer and would be actor!, got apology from Letterman

The teen singing sensation Justin Bieber tops the world now as his new album, "Believe," hits the top chart. Bieber is extremely thrilled by the success hid not his feelings before media. The 18 year-old heartthrob told Access Hollywood in New York city, "I feel great. I'm really happy." He told that ahead of his YouTube Q&A with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.

"The album turned out great and the fans love it and the critics love it and everyone's been raving about it. So, it's been an amazing week so far."With the album release, an appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman" and an NBC overseas special, is the superstar feeling the lack of sleep? "No, I don't get tired - I'm actually a robot, so..." he joked. "No, of course I get tired, yeah. I get tired.

"The "Boyfriend" singer is handling the pressure though, keeping his focus on the wealth of opportunities he's been afforded and concentrating on his music. "I'm pretty laid back," he said. 'I try to just take everything day by day and everything happens for a reason." "Believe" - Justin's third studio album - is available in stores now.

Bieber appeared as the guest on The Late Show on Thursday night. In that show celebrated TV host David Letterman, who was trying to persuade the 18-year-old not to have any more skin art after spotting the word 'believe' - the title of Bieber's new album - on the singer's left arm, was forced to apologize to the teenage heartthrob.

Last time Letterman urged his guest, ignoring his being upset, not to transform his body into the Sistine Chapel, which artist Michelangelo covered with paintings.

A chuckling Letterman also poked fun at the singer's education calling it "Canadian high school!" as his studio audience burst into laughter. Clearly upset by the mocking, Bieber continued the interview but said, "If you want me to" when the TV host asked him if he was going to perform on the show as scheduled.

Justin Bieber is thought to appear in a new movie with Mark Wahlberg. Mark says the teen singing sensation is putting a great deal of thought into his possible leap to the big screen.

"We're just waiting for the script, I've seen 115 pages of it and it's really good," the star said of the untitled Bieber project that he has in development, which he will produce and co-star in, alongside the teen singer.

"It's kind of like the 'Color of Money,' [first you had] Paul Newman and Tom Cruise, and now me and Justin Bieber. It could be very good," Mark explained.

Halle Berry marring Oliver Martinez planned for Nahla's education

Halle Berry is planning now to marry her fiance, Dark Tides Costar, French actor-turned-restaurateur Oliver Martinez, 46. They became engaged in January and the couple hopes to get permission from a judge to move to paris with her daughter Nahla. "Halle wants somewhere to care for Nahla" told a source to US. Also it was said, "She wants to escape the paparazzi".

Halle is now busy in settling the issue of custody of her daughter with her ex Gabriel Aubry. A TMZ source informed that  the court ruled Monday that the court ruled Monday, and according to them the actress pay Aubry $20,000 a month in child support for their daughter Nahla. Nahla is now 4 and Berry and her ex's lawyar were in court for rulling.

Above all they planned to go to Cape Town, where they first fell in love, for nuptial.

“They want to have the ceremony and reception on a huge yacht in False Bay. They’re finalising a lot of the details now, like who’s going to design the dress.”

The Oscar winner had pledged never to wed again but 45 year-old could not keep her vow when her new boyfriend proposed her to marry him.

“It’s obvious to everyone that they have finally found the right one this time,” the source said. “It’s especially exciting for Olivier, who has never been married before.”

After all the good news is that Nahla will grow up with a new surrounding and new environment of European education.

Kate Upon appears in GQ video with a topless: skimpy outfits

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model and curvy YouTube sensation Kate Upton recently appears in the GQ spread wearing skimpy outfits while seductively licking a popsicle.

Kate Upon, who gleefully jiggled her way into a modeling career, recently did a photo shoot for GQ. With the assistance of professional photographer Terry Richardson, also known as the man responsible for lensing Upton’s insanely popular “Cat Daddy” dance video, the model/actress has delivered a number of racy images for the magazine upcoming issue.

Otherwise, you’re just going to creep out everyone at the supermarket, and that’s definitely not cool. Besides, how am I supposed to snag the latest Dean Koontz paperback when you’re just standing there starring at Kate Upton’s cleavage? Don’t laugh.

During the shoot, apparently Upton had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction while spinning around on a carnival ride. “For the GQ photo shoot, we were on that ride where the seat spins while the actual ride is spinning, and I’m wearing a one-piece. And all of a sudden the whole entire top falls off!” she explained. “I’m holding myself, laughing, turning bright red, but a lot of people are watching, so they kicked us out of the Santa Monica Pier — it was so embarrassing. You wouldn’t think that would happen with a one-piece!”

If this magazine isn’t enough to get your blood pumping, the model is getting her very own baseball card. Although she doesn’t play the sport on a professional level, Topps needs to do something drastic to keep people interested in buying their product. If there’s one thing young guys love more than sports, it’s boobies. Combine the two and you’ve just invented a system to print money. Or so they hope.

To whet your whistle for Kate Upton’s GQ spread, have a look at the cover below. That image is accompanied by two photos of Upton wearing next to absolutely nothing, so be sure no one’s looking over your shoulder if you decide to ogle the images while you’re at the office. Sure, they’re not technically nude photos, but there’s very little left to the imagination.

Webb Simpson wins the U.S. Open: never wrapped his mind around winning

Webb Simson this time won U.S.Open Sunday afternoon in the spookily foggy forest at the Olympic Club He was up against a pair of major champions. He was at The Olympic Club, where the wrong guy always wins a U.S. Open. Simpson should have known now how this would end.

Simpson could do this because, in another weird plot twist, he did not know he had finished first until 45 minutes after he'd finished playing. At the exact moment of his triumph, Simpson was sitting at a table in the club's basement locker room, waiting to see if his final score of 1 over par could be tied by one of the last two men on the course, Jim Furyk or Graeme McDowell.

He did his part with four birdies in a five-hole stretch around the turn, and a tough par from the collar of the 18th green for a 2-under 68. It was enough to capture his first major when Furyk bogeyed two of his last three holes, and McDowell couldn't recover from a bad start and too many tee shots in the rough. "Oh, wow," Simpson said when McDowell's 25-foot birdie putt to force a playoff stayed left of the cup Simpson emerged from a fog-filled final round as a U.S. Open champion, and he put two more names into the graveyard of champions.

"I never really wrapped my mind around winning," said Simpson, who finished at 1-over 281 to win in only his fifth time at a major. "This place is so demanding, and so all I was really concerned about was keeping the ball in front of me and making pars." Olympic is known as the "graveyard of champions" because proven major winners who were poised to win the U.S. Open -- Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Payne Stewart -- all lost out to the underdog. Perhaps it was only fitting that the 25-year-old Simpson went to Wake Forest on an Arnold Palmer scholarship.

"Arnold has been so good to me," Simpson said. "Just the other day, I read that story and thought about it. He's meant so much to me and Wake Forest. Hopefully, I can get a little back for him and make him smile." No one was beaming like Simpson, who followed a breakthrough year on the PGA Tour with his first major.

No one was more disgusted than Furyk, in control for so much of the final round until he snap-hooked his tee shot on the par-5 16th hole to fall out of the lead for the first time all day, and was unable to get it back. Needing a birdie on the final hole, he hit into the bunker. He crouched and clamped his teeth onto the shaft of his wedge. Furyk made bogey on the final hole and closed with a 74, a final round without a single birdie.

Nik Wallenda: the first daredevil to cross the Niagara on 200 high wire

Nik Wallenda has become the first daredevil in the world to cross the Niagara Falls on a 200 feet high and two-inch-wide wire on friday. He started from USA part amid the applause of tens of thousands turned up spectators and millions more before the television screen around the world and ended his stunt in Canada part of Falls. It took him 25 minutes to complete the journey.

And although Nik Wallenda's 1,800-foot trip over the roaring waters of Horseshoe Falls, the largest of the three falls, secured him some serious bragging rights, the daredevil seemed more interested in the estimated 112,000 people who gathered to witness the spectacle.

"I hope what I do and what I just did inspires people around the world to reach for the skies," Wallenda, 33, told reporters after the walk, in which he wore a safety tether as per the request of ABC, which helped sponsor the stunt, according to the Associated Press.

He said he felt like he was "on cloud nine" after braving "wind coming from every which way" and blinding mist on his 30-minute walk from the U.S. into Canada.

"There was no way to focus on the movement of the cable," he said. "If I looked down at the cable, there was water moving everywhere. And if I looked up, there was heavy mist blowing in front of my face. So it was a very unique, a weird sensation."

So how did he overcome the forces of nature to complete the historical walk, which paid homage to his circus family, the Flying Wallendas, and his great-grandfather, the late Karl Wallenda (who died during a stunt in Puerto Rico)?

"A lot of praying," he said. "That's for sure."

Brad Pitt's production of starring of World War Z a total nightmare

Brad Pitt's production and starring in Paramount’s World War Z, based on a best-selling Max Brooks novel about zombies in a postapocalyptic world, is expected to be kicked off this December. It's a trilogy that would amount to more than just a series of PG-13 popcorn movies but the production of the movie has apparently turned into a “total nightmare.”

Pitt, who is producing as well as starring in the new movie, has apparently ordered several reshoots and is planning on rewriting the ending of the movie. According to Canoe, screenwriter Damon Lindelof has been called into to rewrite the script and director Marc Forster has planned several weeks of reshoots.

The movie was scheduled to be released this December but Pitt and the other executives have pushed the release date back to next Summer so that they can fix the movie. Paramount film group president Adam Goodman said:

“The footage from this film looks fantastic, but we all agreed it can have a better ending. Getting the ending correct is essential, and we are in that creative process. World War Z is a giant summer movie and we are confident it will be a global hit when it’s released June 2013.”

One source close to the production of World War Z said: “It’s a nightmare from top to bottom.”

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Pitt was able to hire the director of his choice, Marc Forster, to helm the new zombie movie. Forster wasn’t, however, allowed to bring his usual team with him. Instead, Forster was surrounded by seasoned, but unfamiliar, faces. Forster also isn’t too experienced with big budget special effect movies. This, according to a source, has caused constant bickering on the set.

“The director was not empowered…. There was nobody that steered the ship. … When you get [a director] who can’t do it all … you get a struggle as to whose is the singular voice. They just couldn’t get it right. There was a lot of spinning of plates, a lot of talking. [But] they did not have a plan.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie’s budget is now north of $170 million and at least 5 weeks of reshoots will be needed to complete the film.

World War Z has been having problems since production began, which was made evident earlier this year when a Hungarian anti-terrorism unit raided a warehouse and confiscated 85 fully functional automatic assault rifles. Pitt was reportedly furious with the crew for making the mistake of purchasing real guns.

Paris Jackson reflection of life in "Oprah's Next Chapter": Cyberbullied at school

Paris Jackson with a T-Shirt where the great Pop
legend, her father Michael Jackson
Paris Jackson, 14-year-old daughter of pop legend Michael Jackson, reflected her life for the first time since her father's death disclosing the fact that she is often bullied by her classmates at L.A.'s prestigious Buckley School. She is also the target of cyber bullying as she opened up in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. She made those comments for Oprah Winfrey's "Oprah's Next Chapter" that aired on the talk show host's OWN cable channel on Sunday, June 10.

"People have tried [to bully me], but it doesn't always work," Jackson told Winfrey. "At school and some people try to cyber bully me. They try to get to me with words, but that doesn't really work."

Since her father's death, Paris has become one of the most popular Jackson children, with more than 360,000 Twitter followers, and one of the most sought-after members of the famous family to interview. Winfrey had featured the girl, her brothers and grandmother, who is raising them, in 2010 for her syndicated talk show.

The teenager has also become a paparazzi target and has a security team with her around the clock. She told Winfrey that her new school friends find the security detail "creepy" and says it's "unfortunate" that she can't be on her own.

Paris Jackson is beginning her own career in the entertainment industry and will make her acting debut in the upcoming fantasy movie, "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys," which is slated for release in 2013.

Jackson, an iconic and eccentric performer, the most successful in the world, was notoriously private about his three children, Prince Michael, 14, Paris and Blanket, 10. He covered their faces with masquerade masks or scarves when they went out in public, especially in the presence of celebrity photographers, and often wore them himself. The children were usually unmasked when they went out without him, accompanied by bodyguards.

"I was really confused. I didn't get why I was wearing a mask," Paris said. "But I understand it now why my dad would want our face to be covered. When we went out without him, we wouldn't be recognized and we could have a normal childhood."

Jackson has said in the past that he "didn't have a childhood." The singer began his music career as a child, performing with his siblings in the pop group the Jackson Five, under the management of their father in the late 1960s.

"He told us that when he was younger, he didn't really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while other kids were out playing and he wanted us to have that," Paris Jackson told Winfrey. "So a lot of times we would go to Chuck E. Cheese and everything. Chuck E. Cheese is one of our favorite places to go."

Jackson died at age 50 in June 2009 from an accidental overdose of the anesthetic propofol and other medications in his rented Los Angeles mansion. Scores of people flocked to the area to mourn him after his death. Paris was 10 at the time.

At a public and televised memorial at Staples Center sports arena, the little girl spurred fresh tears - and became a star in her own right - when she appeared with her family, took the microphone and said: "I just want to say ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine."

Lindsay Lohan narrowly escaped death from a collision of her Porsche and a dump truck

Misfortunes are not leaving Lindsay Lohan nowadays. She on friday narrowly escaped from a deadly accidenton her Porsche collided with an dump truck on a Southern California highway. A rep for Lindsay tells us, the actress was on her way to the "Liz & Dick" set when her rented Porsche collided with an 18-wheeler -- smashing the car to pieces.

We're told Lindsay is fine and is now on her way back to the set ... in the back of an SUV. Police said Lohan was driving her black Porsche with an unidentified male passenger on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica on her way to the set of her latest movie project, and collided with a dump truck. Neither Lohan or the driver of the truck were under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police said.

"Lindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set....She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident," Lohan's publicist, Steve Honig, said in a statement.

Celebrity news website TMZ posted pictures of Lohan's Porsche following the incident, showing a crushed front and smashed windows.

Lohan, 26, is forging ahead with a comeback after a string of legal and personal troubles since 2007, including stints in jail, rehab and court. She was released in March from almost five years of formal probation stemming from a 2007 drunken driving and cocaine possession arrest. The actress is currently playing late screen legend Elizabeth Taylor for a Lifetime TV movie "Liz & Dick," based on Taylor's love affair with actor Richard Burton.

The rep says Lindsay was brought in to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution -- she had no serious injuries ... neither did Lindsay's assistant.

Robert Pattinson who admits to be pretentious also picked a fight with Adele

TIME magazine's one of the 100 Most Influential People in The World Robert Pattinson recently actually admits in a new TV interview that he became “pretentious” and even behaved like a “douchebag”,  before getting himself back in line. Isn’t this one of the reasons we love Robert Pattinson – he is just so down to earth, despite his enormous fame.

Rob confessed that he suffered from a brush with pretentiousness in an interview with Canadian late night talk show host, George Stroumboulopoulos. The interview will air tonight , June 7. He explained that despite becoming a huge movie star, earning $20 million plus a year, he had been determined to remain humble.

“I was really fighting to not look pretentious for years, and someone gives you one inch of the possibility of being pretentious, (in Cannes, where he was asked about his ‘craft’) and you’re like grabbing it so hard, going around being the biggest douchebag,” Rob laughed.

We love that Rob was so anxious to let his fans know that being “pretentious” is not the real Rob. “I’ve kind of reined it in again,” he said about his lapse into douchebaggery. And if anything, we got to see once more in this interview how Robert Pattinson is the opposite of “pretentious” or a “douchebag.” The guy is actually, shockingly lacking in self-confidence.

Robert Pattinson with his girlfriend and co-star of Twilight Saga
Christen Stewart
After all the mega-success of the Twilight movies, Rob’s head hasn’t been enlarged in the least. “I thought I was totally oversaturated everywhere, I wanted to do tiny parts (in movies) or maybe no parts at all… I was really, really determined to find ensemble pieces or anything small just so I didn’t have to be in everybody’s face and annoying everyone.” Well Rob, we can assure you that you are anything but annoying and we can’t wait to see lots of you coming up in Cosmopolis, Rover and Mission Blacklist and many, many more films.

This “Cosmopolis” actor also admits in a new interview with Canadian talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos that he recently picked a fight with his fellow Brit over which of the two of them has an easier time interacting with civilians in public.

"I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said," explains Pattinson. "I was saying, 'You know, you can really just like reach for it.' And she was like, 'You do realize I am like the biggest-selling female artist ever?'”

Adele, who won six Grammy awards this year and whose album "21" has gone platinum 16 times over, took issue with the "Twilight" saga actor saying that she had an easier time in everyday situations.

Kurt Thomas Busch was suspended one week for Pocono from NASCAR

NASCAR suspended Kurt Busch one week until June 13 on charge of violating his probation when he had an altercation with a member of the media this past weekend at Dover International Speedway.

But Suspended NASCAR Kurt Busch isn't losing his Sprint Cup ride, but team owner James Finch said Tuesday that the leash at Phoenix Racing has gotten shorter. Busch, the 2004 Sprint Cup Series champion, has been banned from competing in next weekend's race at Pocono Raceway. He is in his first season as driver of the No. 51 Chevrolet for Phoenix Racing.

According to a release from NASCAR on Monday, Busch violated Section 12-1 (Actions detrimental to stock car racing; violation of probation; verbal abuse to a media member) of the 2012 NASCAR Rule Book.

Last month, NASCAR fined Busch $50,000 and placed him on probation until July 25 following his actions in the 500-mile race at Darlington Raceway. The sanctioning body penalized Busch for "reckless driving on pit road during the race" and for being "involved in an altercation with another competitor (a crew member with Ryan Newman's team) after the completion of the race."

The incident at Dover occurred when Busch made threatening comments to a reporter from The Sporting News. The reporter, Bob Pockrass, asked Busch if his probation impacted how he raced Justin Allgaier during last Saturday's 200-mile Nationwide Series race at Dover. Busch and Allgaier had a heated discussion on pit road after the race. The two made contact with each other multiple times in the early going. Busch was driving the No. 54 Toyota, which is owned by his younger brother, Kyle.

Caught on tape by Speed television, Busch responded to Pockrass' question, saying, "It refrains me from not beating the (expletive) out of right now, because you ask me stupid questions. But since I'm on probation, I suppose that's improper to say as well. If you could talk about racing things, then we can talk about racing things, Bob...It is not racing. You're in this just to start stuff. That's all you're out here for." NASCAR also noted that Busch's probation has now been extended through the remainder of the year. Busch has apologized for the incident.

"I accept NASCAR's decision," he said in a statement. "I put them in a box. They had to take action, and it's my fault for putting them in this position. I apologize for the comments I made to Bob Pockrass."

Busch has been penalized by NASCAR three times within the past seven months.
Last November, his inappropriate hand gesture and use of foul language while waiting to be interviewed by an ESPN reporter during the season-ending race at Homestead, FL led to a $50,000 fine from NASCAR. He was also dismissed from Penske Racing, where he had been with since the start of the 2006 season.

Harley Davidson, a real hero rules the odds that rule the world

Harley-Davidson or H-D or Harley that begins its journey in begining of 20th century, proved its ability to survive the odds that shakes all other same organizations. It survives the recent Great Depression in 1930s. It also survived a period of poor quality control and competition from Japanese manufacturers.

In 1917, when the United States entered World War and when the whole world was thinking how to survive in that death trap, Harley-Davidson provided about 15,000 machines to the military forces and improving their lot.

Harley-Davidson again produced large numbers of motorcycles for the US Army in World War II and resumed civilian production afterwards, producing a range of large V-twin motorcycles that were successful both on racetracks and for private buyers.

William A. Davidson, Walter Davidson, Sr., Arthur Davidson and William S. Harley
In 1901, William S. Harley, age 22, drew up plans for a small engine with a displacement of 7.07 cubic inches (116 cc) and four-inch (102 mm) flywheels. The engine was designed for use in a regular pedal-bicycle frame. Over the next two years, Harley and his childhood friend Arthur Davidson labored on their motor-bicycle using the northside Milwaukee machine shop at the home of their friend, Henry Melk.

It was finished in 1903 with the help of Arthur's brother, Walter Davidson. Upon completion, the boys found their power-cycle unable to conquer Milwaukee's modest hills without pedal assistance. Will Harley and the Davidsons quickly wrote off their first motor-bicycle as a valuable learning experiment.

After William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson started development of single cylinder engines and bicycle frames, they began to use the shed originally constructed by Arthur's father, William C. Davidson. William was a cabinetmaker for the Milwaukee Road Railway shops and commonly used the 10x15-foot woodshed as his personal shop. However, by 1903, Arthur and William took the shed over as their new and first motorcycle factory.

At some point, this takeover must have been agreed upon because someone informally painted on the door "Harley-Davidson Motor Co." The factory stood on the Davidson lot that is now the site of the Miller Brewing Co. headquarters on the corner of 38th Street and Highland Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The company sells heavyweight (over 750 cc) motorcycles designed for cruising on highways. Harley-Davidson motorcycles have a distinctive design and exhaust note. They are especially noted for the tradition of heavy customization that gave rise to the chopper style of motorcycle. Except for the modern VRSC model family, current Harley-Davidson motorcycles reflect the styles of classic Harley designs.

The Multiple superheroes Green lantern in "Earth 2" with different taste

Green Lantern, the multiple superheroes from the DC Universe, is serving as a beacon for the publisher again, this time as a proud, mighty and openly gay hero. The change is going to be enjoyed next week(on June 6) in "Earth Two," where writer James Robinson and artist Nicola Scott, reintroduces the concept by putting a new spin on the original versions of characters like the Green Lantern, the Flash and Superman that diverges notably from the past several decades of DC lore. In the second issue of the comic, Robinson and Scott prove just how different this world is by revealing that their version of Alan Scott, the first Green Lantern introduced back in 1940, is an openly gay man.

But purists and fans note: This Green Lantern is not the emerald galactic space cop Hal Jordan who was, and is, part of the Justice League and has had a history rich in triumph and tragedy. Instead, said James Robinson, who writes the new series, Alan Scott is the retooled version of the classic Lantern whose first appearance came in the pages of "All-American Comics" No. 16 in July 1940. And his being gay is not part of some wider story line meant to be exploited or undone down the road, either.

"This was my idea," Robinson explained this week, noting that before DC relaunched all its titles last summer, Alan Scott had a son who was gay. But given "Earth 2" features retooled and rebooted characters, Scott is not old enough to have a grown son. "By making him younger, that son was not going to exist anymore," Robinson said.

"He doesn't come out. He's gay when we see him in issue two," which is due out Wednesday. "He's fearless and he's honest to the point where he realized he was gay and he said 'I'm gay.'" "It was just meant to be — Alan Scott being a gay member of the team, the Justice Society, that I'll be forming in the pages of 'Earth 2,'" he said. "He's just meant to be part of this big tapestry of characters."

It's also another example of gay and lesbian characters taking more prominent roles in the medium. In May, Marvel Entertainment said super speedster Northstar will marry his longtime boyfriend in the pages of "Astonishing X-Men." DC comics has other gay characters, too, including Kate Kane, the current Batwoman.

And in the pages of Archie Comics, Kevin Keller is one of the gang at Riverdale High School and gay, too. Some groups have protested the inclusion of gay characters, but Robinson isn't discouraged, noting that being gay is just one aspect to Scott. "This guy, he's a media mogul, a hero, a dynamic type-A personality and he's gay," Robinson said. "He's a complex character."
