Femme Fatale artist, the Pop Princess Britney Spears has begun her 30s. On Friday she reaches her 30, she was born on December December 2, 1981. But such a glowing personality spet her birthday rather simply as she spent her birthday ice-skating in Houston with her handsome boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Though the pop star kept the day private, her Hollywood friends were sending birthday messages or homemade videos.  "Happy birthday to the beautiful Miss Britney Spears! Welcome to the 30's club, Brit!!" Kim Kardashian told the pop star on Celebuzz. "I wish you all the best for this next year and beyond. You're going to love your 30's! I love you and hope you have a magical day."

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber phoned Spears on Friday, while Nicki Minaj and Lance Bass (who kiddingly called his old pal "grandma") – not to mention hundreds of her biggest fans – posted videos to honor her.

Rihanna, Katy Perry (who wrote, " Happy B-day, Brit Brit!"), Ke$ha, Pauly D, Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus and others sent their well-wishes, as did Ryan Seacrest: "7 years and so many frosted tips later, we're both finally 30!" he wrote, while also posting an old photo of himself with Spears. Her response: "Next step for you are extensions!"  Brit-Brit graciously thanked them in return, reminiscing about birthdays past and even remembering a song she forgot she recorded!

The last two turbulent decades saw her start as one of the biggest pop stars in the world, then hurtle through a nightmare progression of breakdowns, marriages, divorces, hospitalizations, a disastrous MTV VMA performance, a head-shaving incident and the loss of custody of her children.

Following her birthday she is giving a free concert in Mexico city at the city's Monument to the Revolution on sunday December 4. Fifty thousand fans are being expected to attend the grand concert. It is a thanks giving concert from her part for the success of Femme Fatale tour.
