Angelina JOlie releases her first trailer 'In The Land of Blood & Honey' as director.

The directorial debut of Hollywood action actress Angelina Jolie's first trailer, a Bosnian War drama titled “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” premiered online earlier On October 21. The film will hit the web this week, which is two months ahead of the film's December 23 release date. In addition to directing the film, Jolie also penned movie’s script, which tells the love story between a Serbian man and a Bosnian-Muslim woman who are forced apart in the 1992 Bosnian conflicts.
"The former Yugoslavia has a rich history of dramatic arts. The cast was extraordinary," Jolie, who also wrote the film, said about the story. "I was privileged and honored to work with them and I am very excited for everyone to see their immense talent."

Reuters reports that the nature of the film’s plot was so volatile a Bosnian women’s group campaigned against it, claiming that it would portray a Bosnian rape victim falling in love with her Serbian rapist. Therefore Jolie was a little bit forced to cut her Bosnia shoot short after facing that criticism.

Jolie told Entertainment Weekly back in May, “The film is about the experience that a lot of people, on all different sides, have as war takes its toll . . . a couple that maybe would have lived a certain life, had the war not begun, end up having a very different story because of the war.” Hope, it is going to be subject of positive and creative criticism ahead of the Oscar.
